Ronnie Dalrymple Drums & Percussion

Ronnie was brought up in a household where music was played from dawn `til dusk as, his mother had a very ecclectic taste in music, which Ronnie embraced.
By the age of seven he was playing with the local pipe band.

Constant practice meant that by ten he was playing at local shows and events. By twelve, hotel residences, by fifteen with a rock band until he was eighteen and became very much part of the lucrative club circuit. During this period Ronnie worked with people as diverse as Marty Wilde, Hector Nicol, Matt Monro, Mari Wilson to name a few. One of the acts Ross MacManus was a great buddy of Ronnie's (he might mean nothing to you..but he`s "dad" to Elvis Costello!)

In a moment of madness Ronnie agreed to do a four-day (96 hour) drum solo for charity.... Ronnie toured the UK with The Syndicate (with his brother Neil), thereafter he toured the globe for 17 years with Nazareth as their personal lighting director...also with Uriah Heap and Blue Oyster Cult.
Ronnie is thrilled to be a part of LOBN as, he has admired them for years.
