George has come to Lights Out By Nine from a different route having spent some time working with the Royal Marines Band Service ......well 27 years..... during which time he has travelled to many windswept and interesting places, been featured several times as a soloist at the Royal Albert Hall and featured on BBC Radio 2 with his jazz quartet. George has also played for the last fifteen years with Fife based band "Percy and The Peanuts" and more recently with "Four in The Bar", a jazz quintet based in Nairn. As well as recording with "FiTB" George has also recorded with Edinburgh band "Groove Tunnel" and Hip Hop band "Blackanized"
